* ELEVEN FUN FACTS ABOUT ME *

1. I'm married to an incredible MAN.  I say man like I do because he is what I know to be a real Man.  He is also an active duty Army Soldier ;)
2. Together the wonderful husband and I have a beautiful toddler whom will be 3 this year.
3. I'm an animal lover and absolutely would love to have a ranch with dogs on it just for dogs :)
4. I love muscle cars and old trucks.  I can't wait till I can finally get a Chevrolet Chevelle...or if I get lucky maybe a '55 Chevy truck...still stuck on what series I should get.
5. I am a mutt.  I'm half Filipino and the other half is Cherokee, Choctaw, Irish, and German.
6. I will officially be sworn in as an Army Soldier next week.
7. I love books, I am a bookworm :)
8. When I finally get the chance to go back to school for my Master's Degree it will be in Psychology.
9. Just like my bloggy BFF Marilyn at The ArtsyGirl Connection, I am OCD about color coordinating my closet.  I attempted to do that with my husband's things, but its pointless...men.  lol.  I love you hubby.
10. I was born and raised in California but like I always say I was partially raised in Oregon as well.  My grandparents on my Dad's side have a house in both states and every year we would be up there for awhile in Oregon.  I miss it.
11. I'm obsessed with photography and DIY things...

Oh my gosh, that was so exhausting trying to think of "fun facts" about myself.  To me these things are Normal so of course I wasn't thinking outside of the box haha.

Marilyn's ELEVEN QUESTIONS FOR me!
1. If you could meet ONE bloggy BFF, who would it be..?

-I would totally want to meet Marilyn.  She is the biggest sweetheart and one of the most creative people I know.  She completely opened up her heart and her blog to me.  You don't meet that many kind people anymore these days.  There are few who truly are.

2.What's your favorite recipe to create?

-I'm so not a cook and don't try to be.  But I can cook and I do put my best foot forwards because I have to cook for my family.  My husband is the cook in our house though lol.  Anyways, if I have to cook something I love making Chicken Adobo because its what I make best.

3. What's your ideal date night?

-Marilyn, could you have picked a better question for a married person with a child?  I'm just kidding girl, but gosh I don't know what date night is like anymore since we've had our little girl.  Everything we do is with L too, which we don't mind.  So I guess considering we are in Texas and not California (where a beach is) and the fact that we have L.  My kind of date night includes a bottle of wine and a good movie snuggled up with my loves.  It makes getting gussied up so much easier and I'm more relaxed and more able to enjoy myself.

4. If you could travel anywhere in the world TODAY, where will it be?

-If I could travel anywhere today I would love to go to Ireland.  I have always wanted to go since I was a little girl.  My reasoning being I'm part Irish and its part of my heritage and it's a beautiful country.  There is so much to do and so much to see, so much to learn.

5. What's the one thing you LOVE most about yourself?

-The one thing I love most about myself is that I am so blessed by the good Lord with those in my life as well as the life I have.  It's made me stronger and those who are in my life are those who mean something to me as well as vice versa.

6. If you could ask your reader's ONE thing about
your blog, what would it be? (Good, bad, ugly, you pick)

-Um, don't know if I want to know haha.  Maybe I would like feedback about some of the things I post about.  Like Military for instance.  Is that something people care about?

7. What's your favorite season?

-My favorite season is Fall.  Fall is the season (depending on what state you live in) where you get a mixture of both summer and winter.  It's a beautiful season with all of the colors (again depending on where you live lol).  It is definitely the season where you can still go swimming and yet on other days put on a coat cause its just a little bit chilly.  Plus, it is the season for Pumpkin Pie and really good coffee flavors...yum.

8. What's the first thing on your bucket list today?

-I want to give my husband, daughter and any future children everything they need.  I want to ensure that my family is taken care of at all times.  That might not be something to put on a bucket list typically but considering everything else is usually something just for yourself.  This is my life's goal before I die because you'll never know when you go.  When I die I want to die knowing I did the best I could for my family.

9. Biggest goal for 2012 (or change?) 

-My goal for this year is to truly BELIEVE that God will handle everything for me.  I say this because there are times where I feel as if I have been failed and in reality I haven't.  There is just a different path chosen for me.  I need to leave it all for God to handle because he can and he will.

10. What's your favorite past time?

-My favorite past time is Photography.  Mind you I don't have a DSLR, I have a Canon Advanced Point and Shoot.  My DSLR shall be coming by the end of the year after I get done with training with the Army :)  Woohoo.  Anyways, its my favorite past time because I capture all of my family's moments.  Their faces, their actions, their ups and their downs.  To me its important to have captured those moments because they will last forever and it shows who they really are.  Plus, when we are away from one another this will be our moment when we can still look at one another and still feel each other close.  Pictures are everything when you are in the Military because you'll never know when you will deploy or when you'll have lengthy trainings you have to attend.  It gives family members and friends who are not close in distance to be able to see us everyday.  In the end its not about being Military, its just about the faces and the moments that you can keep close to you forever.

11. First word that comes to mind NOW - GO!

-FOREVER.
