Spring time fun and some fishing

This past Sunday we had a perfect opportunity to get some sun and get out on the Lake.  We were excited to finally get out of the house and having some great Spring weather.  I was such a happy girl just being able to take photos and reading my book on the lake.  Here are just some of the photos I took.

Oh the many looks of L.

This was L on the trip to the lake…waiting patiently.
IMG_6695L and Daddy fishing together.  I just absolutely love seeing them when they are in sync together.

L had to get up from where she was sitting and fishing and go on the side Daddy was on.

Does this just not soften your heart and make you say awe?
IMG_6707L was just taking in being on the Lake.  She is such a water baby Smile
IMG_6708 These trees took a beating when our crazy rain hit us bad.  We were on tornado watch it was that bad.

Seriously was lovin’ these blue skies.

The lake’s water rose extremely high above normal from the rain.

There was just something about this tree standing alone…still don’t know what it is.

This is one of my fave houses on the Lake.  This guy is seriously lucky and I’m sure loving where he lives.

L was waiting for Daddy to get the fish off so she could hold it.  She got impatient every time he caught a fish.  She would tell him “hurry hurry Daddy, I gotta get the fish.”

Gotta love the Sun rays and the reflection of the water.  Happy loves with their fish.

I think this was the last fish they caught and that ended our day on the lake.  Such a great way to end the day.  I loved every minute with them.  Those are the days I cherish…

    1. Awe thank you :) How sweet! Your husband totally needs to take her fishing. We started really young with L. I think the first time we took her out was probably when she was about 14 months.

  5. Every time I see pictures of your baby I fall for her just a little bit more. I'm one of those souls that is either 5 or 80... I'm not sure! But I know I'd always rather be playing cars or barbies than having an adult conversation. Your family trip looks fun!
