Spicy Turkey Chili

I had been craving Chili for awhile now and to be honest I don’t like cooking…Smile with tongue out  But since I try to be nice and take turns cooking with hubby.  Because honestly he is the shizzles at cooking.  He could throw down with the best, hands down.  I do think of him and how he is the only one currently working.  So I do cook several times a week and this week I really had to make my own Chili.  That is one thing about me, if I cook something I like to cook from scratch.
Anyways, before I ramble on here is my recipe for some Spicy Turkey Chili:
Ingredients:
-1lb of Jennie-O’s Ground Turkey the 93 lean (that’s just our preference since we like to eat all natural (organic all things preferably)
-15oz can of tomato sauce (and possibly diced tomatoes too if you like that texture)
-2oz of Diced Jalapenos
-14oz Whole Pinto Beans
-16oz Kidney Beans
-1tsp or more of Pepper
-1tsp or more of Ancho Chile Pepper
-1tsp oregano leaves
-1/2 cup of chopped Onions

1.) First brown your ground turkey and do NOT drain the fat, it will add to the sauce.

2.) Add the tomato sauce and the onions and mix.

3.)  Add all of your beans and jalapenos.

4.)  Mix it all up and let it cook for an hour and a half or more.
My batch of Chili turned out awesome…hubby was thrilled for sure.
Hope you all like.

  1. yep! this seals it...we are blogging BFF's...I am completely obsessed with chili. I think I could eat it once a week or more. I have to literally force myself to not add Fritos though, and make Frito Pie! I'll give this recipe a try :)

    1. Thank you. Organic is best these days all those added hormones and pesticides are scary :/ Glad you're doing it ;)
